Personality

Personality : Elena considers herself to be a good person, even though she herself has made some less than good choices in life. Has a deep hatred for Pirates and anyone who works for them, preferring to take them out, but capturing them is just as good. She loves food and anything that goes with it, including wine, though she may be considered too young for it. Has a deep passion for swordplay and wishes to become the best in the world, even though there are people far better than her in battle. Can come across as arrogant but she is far from it, giving credit where credit is due and complimenting her foes. Acts refined when it suits her but in the midst of battle she is completely different, becoming an almost emotionless killing machine except for the occasional banter.

History

History: Elena was raised in the North Blue by her parents, who were master chefs. From a young age she was raised with a love for food and all things involving it. Her parents ran a well known restaurant, the hub for everyone in the North Blue, some even migrating from the other seas to taste their cuisine. Including pirates but mostly they came for the food; and nothing else. Though that was not always to be, as one day a group of dangerous pirates found it necessary to pillage the town the restaurant was in, killing her parents as well as everyone in it. She managed to stay alive by hiding in her parent’s personal wine cellar which was well hidden, or at least well enough to fool the pirates.

After the chaos was done, she found her parents amidst the bodies. The Marines had just arrived to examine the scene not too long ago and found the young girl in the carnage. One of them took pity upon her and adopted her so to speak. This happened when she was only seven.

With proper training in the art of the blade, she was eventually inducted into the marines by the age of fifteen and quickly moved through the lower ranks. Elena eventually becoming an Ensign to Captain Arianna, the woman who had taken her in. With a hatred for pirates, Elena went out to fulfill her goal. To end the new Pirate Era and ensure no one else has to suffer what she has.
